When you submit the Jury Summons registration form, we collect the name and email address you provide, along with any optional message you choose to include. This information is submitted through Formspree, a third-party form processing service, which has its own privacy policy governing how it handles and stores this data.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, approximate geographic location, browser and device type, and referral source, typically through the use of cookies. Google’s own privacy policy governs how this data is collected and processed.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through the Jury Summons form to send podcast updates, jury-related materials, and trial-related announcements to registered jurors, and to understand overall interest in the production. We use Google Analytics data to understand site traffic and improve the site experience. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Anticipated Future Use of Information

As this production grows, we anticipate that our data practices may expand beyond what is described above. This may include, but is not limited to:

Membership and support platforms: We currently use Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee to allow supporters to contribute financially. These are independent third-party services with their own privacy policies and payment processing; we do not directly collect or store payment card information through them.

Mailing list providers: We may adopt a dedicated email marketing platform (such as Mailchimp or a similar provider) to manage podcast update communications more directly than our current form-based process allows. Should this occur, this policy will be updated to name the specific provider and describe how your information is handled by it.

Additional payment processors: Should we introduce merchandise, premium content, or other paid offerings directly through our site, we may work with additional payment processors. We do not intend to directly store full payment card details ourselves.

Cookies and tracking technologies: Beyond the analytics cookies described above, we may in the future use additional cookies or similar tracking technologies for purposes such as remembering your preferences or measuring the effectiveness of promotional campaigns. Note that we cannot delete data already processed by third-party services such as Formspree or Google Analytics on our behalf; you may need to separately review those providers’ own privacy controls for full removal from their systems.

6. Children’s Privacy

This site and podcast are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
